Dave Oā€™Connor is injured, Paudie still hasnā€™t signed, Whitehead & Williams were at centre-back tonight. Weā€™re really short there, definitely need at least one more.

Another attacking midfielder on trial tonight- Australian/Greek player, formerly of Blackpool.

Jesus Limerick are getting very cosmopolitan . We will soon be like 1980s Derry City .

I canā€™t wait to see an actual Brazilian play for Limerick, heā€™s supposed to be fairly handy too. And Ogbeneā€™s been banging in the goals in pre-season.

Ogbene is still a bit coltish but I think he will be a good signing . I assume he got game time assurances as well as a decent package .

Ogbene on the score sheet again tonight up in Galway. I also see the Superblues have added to the foreign contingent, An Austrian u21 international playing right full he seems to have played a good few games in the Austrian Bundesliga and the Dutch Erdivise.

Signed Tommy Robson on loan from Sunderland. Left-back.

Paudie Oā€™Connor wonā€™t be back apparently, even after a couple of moves to England fell through. Big loss.

Dave Oā€™Connor is injured so options fairly thin at the back. Itā€™s the opposite to the other end of the pitch where thereā€™s plenty of competition for places.

A centre-back will come in before next weekend. Whether theyā€™ll be any good is another matter.

If not, I imagine the team for Friday will look like:

Clarke/Hall
Kelly Whitehead Williams Robson
Hery Duggan
Ogbene Lynch Clarke
Tosi

Bench: Clarke/Hall, Brouder, Oā€™Conor, Kenny, Turner, Mulhall, Oā€™Flynn

With Dave Oā€™Connor & Tracy out.

Whereā€™s he going if heā€™s not going to England ?

Apparently the club said to him there was an offer on the table if the move to the UK failed to materialise. Once the trials fell through Paudie returned to them but was looking for enhanced terms that the club was unable or unwilling to match.

Donā€™t think heā€™s signed up with anyone at the moment. Hopefully both parties will come together and hammer out a deal so that he stays.

Robbie Williams has been a good servant but heā€™s as slow as a wet Tuesday in Ballybunion. Heā€™ll be sent off at least three times this season for hauling down the striker when he is the last man.

Where is Paudie off to?

Paudie O Connor will be a loss but he is massively overrated by most. He isnā€™t anywhere near good enough to go across to England IMO.

He probably is over rated by some (including myself) but I think heā€™s a decent prospect. Heā€™s still only a kid. Tall, quick and still to fill out.

Thereā€™s worse centre backs than him playing in League One, League Two and in Scotland imo.

What about the other centre half, does he offer him protection?

Whitehead is a Mr Bojangles. Together they could be Angels.

Swedish fullback signed this morning. Do we have any idea who the silent investor is?

I read elsewhere it was a Mr Still Hushed.

So we have ruled out Mr. Guy Incognito?
