Shite match tonight but the win should be enough to keep us up, a point next Friday will seal it.
Drogheda were God awful, they are relegated and played like a team who were. We weren’t much better, a real flatness to the match, struggled to inject any bit of tempo into the game and were sloppy enough. Ogbene isn’t a man for the tight exchanges really and although he got a couple of fellas on yellows (and one sent off), it wasn’t his best day. Lynch tried hard but has had more luck; I thought Tosi was the best player on display- held the ball up nicely, was our most composed player, won the penalty, scored the penalty.
Young Fitzgerald looked very lively down the left when he came on. Crowe won MotM, playing in the middle with Duggy suspended. He was alright. There was no one really standout, just that kind of game.
Russell & Mulhall both playing for Drogs. One booed, the other applauded.
