North Stand is SOLD OUT guys!!!
I’ll have to make do with the grass bank
Shit weather for the grass bank. Leave the fancy runners at home
I’m trying to plan the best place to park the car so I can make a trip to one of Limerick’s fine chippers post game.
There isn’t a daycent chipper in Limerick but there’s no shortage, make sure to post a review.
I might walk over to this if the rain goes away.
I haven’t come across any daycent ones in Cork yet since my arrival. Chippers that is.
I was actually just discussing chippers with a Tipp colleague a few mins ago. We both agreed there’s nothing work talking about in Cork and we both lamented the loss of the lobster pot… He went to college in Limerick. What’s left running these days? The one in Garryowen used to be good.
There’s none in cork either, Fish wife on McCurtain street is alright though
They’re all the same.
I think that’s about right… They are all using mass produced frozen chips and cheap shitty batter. McDonaghs in Galway is grand but give me the shits the last time I was there.
In the mid 90s Luigis used to be savage.
Try Fish Wife in town, it’s quite good.
Lennox’s in Cork (Bandon road) has a great reputation but it middling at best, the Golden Fry in Ballinlough was OK but I haven’t been in a few years.
The chippers in Limerick are all identical, you get great fish and chips by the sea in Britain. Rick Stein’s in Padstow is nearly worth the journey alone.
Atmosphere building here in fortress Markets Field.
Think I’ll go for a Chicken Hut after.
A decent crowd here on the grass bank
Handy spot, can piss while standing no need to move. Any whiskey on you?
I’m driving…
Kick Off delayed by 10 minutes
Lovely best wishes tweet from the official Limerick GAA twitter account to Limerick FC.
Massive respect between the two biggest sporting organisations on Shannonside.
That’s a surprise
