Super Blues - Official Thread 2016

No, it was on the way up. Was fresh as a daisy.

Didnā€™t bother risking it this morning, only hit the road at 1pm.

@dodgy_keeper looks very happy in that photo :+1:

1-0 down at Drogheda and apparently getting played off the park. My source at the game tells me we should be 3-0 down.

3-1 down. The unbeaten record is about to go.

Incredible scenes as the Super Blues come from 3-1 down with 10 mins left to snatch a point and maintain the unbeaten record! A last gasp Aaron Greene header in the fourth minute of injury time saves the day.

3-3. Full time.

Dropped points against Drogs twice now, but in both games we score with pretty much the last kick of the game to equalise.

Iā€™ll forgive a poor showing after the performance up in Derry.

This was always likely to see us drop points, an away draw to Drogheda is not a bad result.

The organisation can now focus on the cup and also preparing for a good first season back in the Premier Division.

We are box office

League Cup final against Pats.

I hope to fuck itā€™s at home.

Have to beat them twice in a matter of weeks if we want to win both cups. Think we can do it.

When is that decided? I love when a bandwagon comes to me, much easier to hop on.
Iā€™ve been meaning to get down to the field for a few games, I went to a couple last year, but they are so far ahead of everyone itā€™s kind of boring.

Apparently, it will be announced tomorrow.

Hopefully the FAI give it to us to fuck Pats over after their recent dispute. Weā€™ll take anything.

As for it being boring, there isnā€™t much tension in the games, true, but that performance up in Derry was really good and the two matches against Pats should be exciting. They do play nice football.

Pats travelled to Galway last year for the EA Sports Cup final after losing a coin toss. Can understand why theyā€™d be reluctant to travel again for a second year in succession, in fairness. Originally Iā€™m led to believe the winners of Limerick - Derry were told theyā€™d have home advantage but Pats are kicking up a fuss so itā€™ll probably be a coin toss.

The FAI Cup game is down on the Pats website for Friday week, August 19th which is a pain in the hole as I canā€™t make it that night. Could have made it if it was the Saturday.

Home draw for cup finalā€¦ 17 Sept.

Wonderful news that Limerick will host the EA Sports cup final on Sept 17th.

Go on Limerick FC

Could somebody please reply to the Patā€™s tweet and ask them if they strategically planned for so many away cup ties in succession?

Itā€™s seems that they are very happy to have a 12th successive away draw. Good for them.

Itā€™s a win win for everyone.

Will they play it in Connaught to satisfy ticket demand ???

Get in. Tremendous. Home cup final.
