Nervous about going to Denver but I think the Pats are in a better place than Bronco right now… I think they only played at about 60% the other night and with a game under their belt those returning players will up it big time. If the useless Colts can go to Denver and blitz them, there’s no reason the Pats wont do it this year… I watched a little of that game last night and nothing has changed for the Broncos on Offense, Manning is still not finding his targets, tho he was let down with a few drops Sunday… The Colts put big prssure on him and dared him to throw long, Pats need to employ the same tactic here… With Harris injured and Broncos playing zone with no CB Brady/Edleman/Gronk could go to town… On the other side, Chung, Jones, Collins will need big games but if our D steps up and plays Brady will eventually wear down their D. Have to stop that cunt Anderson tho.
yeah there should be no reason to fear them with how both sides are playing right now, but playoff football is a different thing. Brady doesnt have a good record there either and the altitude and crowd and all that shit can make a difference. The Broncos defence is good, although I thought they played far too much of a cushion against Pittsburgh and were happy to see a short crossing route pass. I cant see them giving the Patriots receivers the same space and I expect them to press up hard on the LOS. If they can stop the quick ball, it may give their pass rushers time to get to Brady through the porous O line and get him before a receiver gets open from tight man coverage. The O line was much improved though on Saturday, so hopefully they will keep that up.
As for Manning and their offence, I would fear their running game a lot. Once they got that going in the last game, their speed once they got outside destroyed us. Manning threw a lot of wobbly ducks, but managed the game quite well. Jones Sheard and Ninkovic need to get lots of pressure on him early and often. Even after the loss to them the last time, I wasnt too upset over it. A few things went wrong in that game that wouldnt normally happen and I wasnt massively impressed with them despite the good comeback. The run game was the biggest thing in their favour, so that needs to be a priority to stop on Sunday.

Two even games. Brady can hit the short routes all day and his timing with Edelman is exceptional, but those short, sometimes lateral passes of 5/6 yards are essentially handoffs, ultra safe, undefendable, and inadvertently stat padding. He was fairly average as he got closer the goal line and had to throw into coverage. They will need some sort of ground game. The luxury the pats have is they don’t have to sit too deep on peyton who can’t air it out more than 20 yards with any accuracy or power. CJ andersons return to form late could be telling. A game time call.
The start Carolina got kinda made a fuck of the rest of that game as Carolina became so cautious it was hard to gauge how effective they are in a pressure situation where they have to score, not just defend. I’d give Arizona a tentative nod.
