Super Bowl LIX- The slippery slope to the Superdome

More like the Brady fanboys are scared shitless anyone would even be in the same conversation as him and are quick to throw shit, now that the leading contender had a stinker.

Watch my toes hates Brady

The Queefs crew are seething it’s absolutely beautiful, @Raylan I know you are hiding there in the background you were tolt!

He wasn’t who I was referring to:

Ah I’m only a passing fan.

I do like Brady though.

A little like nadal he was an underdog who made it to the top.

His humility really appeals to me.

Mahomes is a mercurial talent and may go on to win more but probably not enough credit is given to likes of Andy Reid who will also go down as one of greatest head coaches ever. Hes 67 now and will not easily be replaced. Greatest playcaller of all time. Spagnola too is probably the greatest defensive mind in the game. They are large components of what has made the Chiefs so great. When you turn 30 the body starts to slow down and making plays outside the numbers and scrambling have been key weapons in Mahomes arsenal. He does it very sparingly in the regular season, probably for self preservation purposes but you lose this ability with time and he needs to find other ways to win.

Brady never had to rely on these attributes and instead could read what defenses were going to do before they did it. He was a genius in this regard. He faced a seahawks defense in their pomp better than what Philly had last night and was able to make adjustments, change plays, protections, go play action. Chiefs did none of this last night. Its why Brady was able to play until 45 notwithstanding the fact he sacrificed everything to do so. Its why he is the greatest. Not just in NFL terms but transcending all sports.
The mind cannot fathom how a 45 year old can be run down by 300 lb linebackers, get up and go again. And most of all want to go again. We’ll never see anything like it again.

I love Nadal but besides his Jordan like drive and edge, couldn’t warm to Brady. I was a Peyton man back when there was an argument between the 2 of who was better.

I like Brady. He’s a good listen.

Can’t say the same about others.

You’re walking all over them here

If I’m open to correct but Brady won 3 of his 4.

His debut a week after 9/11 and only came because of an injury to a very good Q.B.

I’d agree with @johnnysachs Brady is one of the greatest sportsmen of all time but there was also an element of good fortune he achieved so much.

Its a shame he’s probably too protected and too concerned himself about his image to get an idea of the raw dark side he has/had. You only hear about it in drips and drabs from other teams and players. The story of him and Edelman training in off season where he says ā€œI’m not chasing Montana, I’m chasing Jordanā€.

Shady McCoy tells a great of where after beating Drew Brees in his final game, he throws it around with Brees and the kids on the pitch after. Only to come back into the locker room and announce ā€œI got his assā€. This was after the Saints had beaten them twice in the regular season.

Ya went 3-0, then lost his next 2 to Eli.

That video of playing with brees kids is iconic

What exactly was I tolt that I didn’t know?

Mahomes has regressed as badly as your hairline sham

There is undoubtedly good fortune but you can also make a good deal of it yourself. He got a big break with the Drew Bledsoe injury and getting his start. This could have delayed his development and career progress had it not happened. In superbowls for every Tyree helmet catch theres probably an Edelman double clutch catch in the midst of 3 Falcons. A Malcom Butler int and stupid playcall by the Seahawks or a Corey Clement phantom TD for Eagles in 2018. They tend to balance out. With 2 mins to go in the 3rd in the Falcons superbowl they were down 25. Brady was beaten up. And throwing to Edelman, Hogan, Amendola and Bennett (no Gronkowski) he was able to peg them back. They needed 2 2 point conversions with TDs just to tie with 6 mins left in regulation. That game up to a point was a carbon copy of what Chiefs faced last night. Body language with the Patriots and Chiefs in both sets of circumstances was vastly different though. Its stark seeing the contrast in demeanour and body language between Edelman and Brady on the sideline when down 25 and likes of Kelce and Mahomes last night.

Welcome Kellen Moore

Hopefully they let Carr off, swallow the dead money and just start a proper rebuild. Plenty already there to build around.

Since going public with her relationship with Travis Kelce in 2023, Taylor Swift has generated over $1 BILLION in brand value for the NFL.

NFL’s salary cap went up by more than $25 million USD for 2025, thanks in part to Swift’s value creation, via Sports Illustrated

How do they figure that out?

I see Justin Tucker was at the masseurs as well
