Super Bowl LVII -The arduous advance to Arizona

What is going to happen with Aaron Rodgers?

Reading the tea leaves it looks as though he will surely be traded. The Packers arenā€™t going to be as good a team this year as they were last year even if Rodgers returns given their cap situation and who they have to release/hit free agency.

So it is trade him, given him a new deal or let him play in 2022 and leave as a FA. Surely if it was simply about money and a new contract then it would have been done weeks ago.
It makes no sense for Green Bay to let him play next year and then leave in FA, they end up in cap hell and get zero for Rodgers when he hits FA and chances are the GM and HC are on the firing block. They would also have to make a decision on Jordan Loveā€™s fifth year option without him playing any meaningful football.

Trade him now and get a haul and start the rebuild from a far better place. They are screwed if they let him play next year without an extension.

Spoke with a few Packers fans in the US last week and they all reckon that this is completely dependent on what happens with Adams. if the Packers keep him Rodgers stays and if heā€™s traded heā€™ll only go somewhere that will take Adams as well. seems a bit mad but you wouldnā€™t be surprised.

Well done GB, a state can sleep easy tonight

Jimmy G to Denver so I reckon. Draft a QB at 9th and bring Von Miller home.

The GOAT was never gonna sell his soul like mercenary Tom

Great news, the GOAT belongs in Green Bay

He obviously doesnā€™t care about winning another superbowl, the anti Brady

200 million to lose to the Niners in the play offs again, fucking clowns :joy:

The Jimmy G sweepstakes starts in earnest. A first should do it.

Packers would surely bite someoneā€™s hand off for a third rounder for Love

I could see Denver offering two seconds and a 3rd.

What a day

OMFG!!!

Offffffttttt!

Cā€™mannnnnnnn!

Drew Lock heading to Seattle. Looks like Denver realised that Rodgers wasnt coming weeks ago and initiated talks for Wilson.

Jesus, the AFC West will be a bloodbath

Just as well the Chargers have re-signed Mike Williams
