Devin Singletary to Giants
I was just about to ask if the Giants have a single good footballer still on their roster.
Danny Dimes

They look nicely set up for the next few years on that side of the ball at least
Improving the O Line needs to be a priority too; they have signed ex GB Packer guard Runyan as a start there
@Big_Dan_Campbell I know you strongly advocate building via the draft & complementing that selectively via free agency. I’m not monitoring it closely but what are the Eagles up to? They’ve lost two core pieces to retirement on either line - Kelce & Cox - but, despite that & other players released, I don’t think they’ve a huge amount of cap room having paid Hurts last year.
I thought if they were going to splash out (selectively) in free agency it would be in one of the glaring defensive positional weaknesses - linebacker, safety (having also released Byard) or even corner. Maddox is gone too. But I didn’t expect them to go in for a RB at the top of the market & did they really need to extend Dickerson on the offensive line at record deal numbers? They’ve also gone in big for the defensive line chap from the Jets & Roseman traditionally expends a lot of the cap on that area. Talk that Sweat or Reddick might be traded to get some picks. But I don’t think they’ll be next or near being a championship team if they again end up with a load of linebackers signed from the street & a weak secondary.
I find it weird that they have gone for Huff to pair up with Nolan Smith on the edge - both have speed off the edge but are a very light tandom.
Derrick Henry to the Ravens is huge news in the running back musical chairs
If they lean on him he could do untold
Having an RB that chokes in the post season will complement a QB who does similar
The Texans
The Titans now have DHop, Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard. Surely they can’t rely on Levis to lead those lads?
They had a very poor OL last year , arguably the worst in the league.
They now have one of the best o line coaches in the league on their staff though
Young Levis was bate all over the place last season… Not sure if he has the goods but it was a tough spot to begin his career.
No that was the Jets
Big Dan and Brad getting contract extension
Lions adding a lot of solid players in FA, DJ Reader and Davenport if he stays healthy are big upgrades on what they are replacing. Reader has been the heart of that Bengals defence, I’m surprised they let him walk. Carlton Davis and Amik Robertson along with Moseley signing now gives them four solid corners compared to just Sutton and a handful of undrafted free agents they had at outside corner last year.
As has been the way, no massive long term contracts handed out which they will be weighed down with if any of them bust. Free agency used to lift the floor of the roster and the draft used to raise the ceiling - no particular position of need heading into the draft so they can take the best player available.
