Superbowl LII - The Purple Rainy Road to Mary Tyler Moore's Minneapolis

3 yards short I reckon

The beginning of the end of this Seattle team

Come to think of it Carroll electing not to run the ball with Lynch in the Super Bowl was the real beginning of the end

The 49ers will tear into them at home next, this is their Superbowl this season.

Denver up to fifth pick in the draft. Paxton Lynch has been announced as starter this week. I’d say he has the rest of the regular season to shit or get off the pot.

All that is missing is the curb your enthusiasm theme music

Ken Norton is OUT as the Raiders defensive coordinator.

John Pagano is IN.

Get rid of that cunt Downing aswell please.

I think I read somewhere they’re the only team without an INT this year. Surely Week 12 is the week.

They share this unenviable record with a 49ers team from the 70s according to the talking heads here on Nfl Network.

Paxton Lynch will sort them out this week.

Osweiler gone from starter to inactive in two weeks.

Siemian to back up Lynch this weekend.

Who starts at RB?

Anderson supposedly but Booker is getting more snaps every week and they’re using Charles a good bit as well

So to answer your question I don’t know.

Tyrod to start this week

Elway has a lot to answer too since Manning. To not at this stage have his successor in place considering the wealth of talent on defence is really a lost opportunity.

They panicked with Lynch when Osweiler fucked off and then were almost too loyal to Siemian when he was never going to be the answer.

That along with stalling on addressing the OL issues have resulted in no play off run this season or last.

I’m still bemused by not taking more of a run at Romo and going for Vance Joseph over Kyle Shanahan.

Elway seems to be escaping heat over it all though considering the plaudits he has been getting since taking over there. He had made a lot of good decisions, but despite winning the superbowl in spite of Manning at QB, you still need an effective QB to run things to compliment the outstanding defence. And you can credit Manning for that, he knew his limitations so played a limited game, controlled things. But they have fucked up big time on a QB since and have lost a lot of opportunities, considering how shit in particular the AFC is this year.

He’s starting to come in for it with the Denver press now. He sorted out his contract last off season I think.

Offense needs to be seriously rethought. The O Line improved this season there’s a nice stable of running backs now.

The only way forward I can see at QB is drafting high or having a go with Tyrod Taylor.

It’s correct what you say about Manning the year they won it. I’ve never seen a qb contribute so little to a sb victory. In fact Osweiler should have started the post season ahead of him that year
