I get a barrage of fake an post texts when I actually have something due to be delivered. Some little gremlin sitting inside my phone

I get texts supposedly from the bank saying due to unusual activity on my card it’s going to be placed on hold unless I sort out by using the link provided.

Get texts now from gov saying to get money off my bill to log in and submit details.

Get a ball mod texts from Eflow and for duty owed on parcels as per the 2 lads above.

My card got frozen last week. Wouldn’t work. Called the bank. No freeze on your account. Working again. Dodgy texts since then re my card.

One-time use virtual cards are the way to go.

Been reviewing business and personal payments this week and find that we have too many repeating card payments with obscure operations which would be better as DDs. Not sure if I can change that however.
