It was beautiful in Porto. Nice waves with good power. Only problem was an ice cream headache if you bodysurfed them… First World problems.

I stayed in for a while but mostly kept my head up out of the water, makes it a lot easier stay in longer. One of my friends that you know came with me actually, one for Fulvio to log.
Guillamene Christmas Day swim cancelled. Torrential rain forecasted all day tomorrow for the South East.

Got the swim in yesterday and the day before in Sandycove. It was way too rough at the 40 foot yesterday. Serious rain on the way for today apparently

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the water still today. The coldest is yet to come. A beautiful swim.

I went in at Spanish Point yesterday. Savage. But fuck me it was cold
Byrne’s cove in kilkee. Was fair rough which might have helped, the water was fizzing. Beautiful. I’m looking forward to going again tomorrow already.

That can be a dangerous beach alright. You would have to be wary. Most of the spots in kilkee are very safe even when it gets very rough I think.
Mrs. Fran went this morning, I decided to give it a miss, will get down there tomorrow, have to keep it up to be able for the February swims
