Think its just called the secret beach. Its on the way down to the Bailey lighthouse. A goat track to get to it. Lovely though when you do get down there and then you are in swimming and a seal pops up out of nowhere beside you. Mini Taz was with me and the seal appearing made her evening. People camping on it as well.

Is it the one you have to climb down nearly a cliff to get to?

Yep thats the one.

Yes it’s known both as Jamesons Cove and the Secret Beach. You must be a fairly limber fellow to be able to get up and down out of there.

40 foot busiest I’ve ever seen it today. Water was glorious

I wasn’t expecting it to be as tough as it was. Needed another swim to cool off after climbing back up.

Vico baths magic this morning apart from a few jellyfish, which set people off like Jaws 3D.

The conversations in the water were gas - varied from mergers and acquisitions to holiday homes in Nice to the best fishmonger to get lobster.

WFH in Kilkee this week. Swims before work are glorious. The water this side is perfect, there’s no old in it at all. A beautiful time of year.

First swim at high rock there this evening cc @Juhniallio. A gorgeous swim, very few there which I was surprised at on such a sunny evening.

I was out in Seapoint earlier and surprisingly few people there too. Think a lot of people stay away after a day of heavy rain. Water was murky enough I must say.

Id stay out of seapoint for a few days after a heavy rain, theres normally run off from the sewage plant

Informative. I’ll have a shower that I wouldn’t have bothered with otherwise then.
