It broke Pat Seniors heart looking at the situation. He was reduced to a run off the bench because some mentors in the club had grievances with his father from their own playing days. Typical politics.

You’d wonder when this competition was dreamed up was the aim for the likes of Down or Laois to be in final . Seems to a total reward for counties who really should be doing better . I’d prefer to see an Antrim or Wicklow in final to make it a proper competition
