Tailteann Cup - The new Tommy Murphy

A Mark Barry penalty in injury time sends Offfaly home with their tae in a fucking mug :muscle::muscle::muscle::muscle::muscle:

FYI… The RTE results site have you beaten by a point… Gas cunts.

Corrected now.

Offaly scored a goal in injury time to go one up - Laois scored a penalty in 75th minute to win it.

Draw would done but we buried the bastards anyway

Great to see some of the lesser lights get a bit of excitement from this competition

Not scutching Waterford coming back to bite us in the ass. Some schadenfreude there for anyone who was betting on that game

Away to Westmeath :grimacing::grimacing:

Offaly v New York

Sligo v Carlow

Wexford v Antrim

Everyone will want to draw the winners of that. Are QF opponents lined up or is it draw again after next round

That was some fuck up by Carlow against an already eliminated and generationally bad Longford team. They won’t win away to Sligo now.

Looks like it has had tragic consequences.

The Tamil Tigers Cup MATTERS.

Two atrocious sides

Westmeath look to have put this game beyond Laois with 2 goals in the final 5 minutes of the first-half. Westmeath have really bought into the Tailteann Cup. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re the first two time winners.

Kirwan’s goal chance a turning point there. He really should have gone for the jugular - Westmeath go down the field - via a 50 yarder - and get a penalty. We don’t have the players to rescue this. Or I’ll be very impressed if we turn out to have them.

Not a hope.
Men v boys.
Fair play to the lads involved today but we are just not able to absorb the number of mssing bodies.

Thought ye would rattle them after beating Offaly, and them losing. Disappointing performance in the first half anyways

Justin staying on for another year is great news. He’s a serious operator and you couldn’t but be impressed by him as a leader and a man. A relatively decent year aside from two bad defeats to Kildare and Westmeath, I’d go easy on them today given the sheer amount missing. Since the Louth game the loss of players to injury got harder and harder to take and you worried every time you looked past no 20 week on week.

We go again

Limerick and Wexford will both be happy enough with that draw. Division 4 final rematch
