If you’re spending near half a million on a salary for a fella do you want him sitting in traffic driving himself or working for all those hours a week he’s in the car? Driver makes sense to me if every minister has one, it’s the biggest public job in the country. Claiming 20k expenses when you’re on that kind of money doesn’t sit well though.

You’d know the crack here Glas… What’s does he really do as CEO?. … The important stuff like budgets get dealt with through the CFO and DPER… HR deal with the unions. I assume he chairs a few leadership calls, gives a bit of direction but it’s very limited in its scope. Tony O’Brien seemed a more capable fella but he fell on his sword.
