Taking on an employee

Does anyone know how one would go about this from a legal point, ie, what would I need to do?
It’s not a butler cc @artfoley before you start.
It’s for a registered company.

I’ll sit on an interview board.

£200 fee.

What’s the context? What does it mean

I’ve already identified the candidate, but thanks. £200 would be a bargain to make sure I employ a good God fearing Christian.

He want to fight one of his employees. Wants to give him a bit of high heat, a bit of chin music.

The company I’m involved in, if we wanted to take on an employee. It’s in Ireland, so I don’t know how to go about it.

What’s her name?

Atlanta

If you’ve identified who you want work backwards from there. Follow their procedures or where one doesn’t exist best practice, which led to you identifying X.
Retrospectively grade aptitude or interviews if needed

Chauffeur

Aye,…best to get the legalities in order when you’re giving the position to the girl with the biggest breasts.
Scoundrel

Is company Irish? Or branch of UK company?

You will need to register for Irish payroll taxes either way

And then register employee

Hell in a Cell is your best bet. No disqualifications and no interference. May the best man win

Why would you need a Butler when you already have Jeeves?

A new footman perhaps?

Make sure you have a good interview process set up and that there is a clear marking system that you can stand over

Make sure you have a probation period if it’s permanent position. Many’s the good interviewer turned out to be shit.
We use short term freelance contracts which is an option if it’s not regular or longterm. Standard in our industry.

Thanks mate. Irish registered company. Job based in Ireland.

Just use the standard websites unless it’s a very specific profession - i mailed you the usual ones - there’s no legal stuff

Surely @flattythehurdler has a HR person that looks after all that ?

Is company registered for taxes including payroll. Do that and then register employee with revenue

Use a template offer of employment letter/agreement if they are not senior. If they are more senior then spend a few euro and get a bespoke one to cover IP, non competes in more detail

I don’t know if it is.
I’ll check.
We have to file accounts though.
