Because chocolate bars/biscuits don’t have wings.
Can’t afford the plane fare
2 out of 2 for Pikeman.
I like rocko’s answer though
I’m on my fourth. This thread should be used by the Tea Advisory Board of Ireland (TABI), assuming, of course, such an organisation exists. My intake has doubled as a result of it.
Since i started this thread i am more conscious of reaching my 6 cups a day average…maybe we could get a grant off the TABI, which we could use to buy everyone on the forum a pink snack…
Think I am on #6 so far. But I did have a sneaky espresso from the machine while making the last one.
BUMP
What do Penguins sing on a birthday?
Just hit one of those mid afternoon complete slumps so I had to reach for the coffee - alas tea not srong enough to do the trick.
As a result I can’t even think to be able to answer the Penguin riddle.

Is it “freeze a jolly good fellow” or is that snowmen?
Ding Ding Ding
We have a winner
Just after having about 6 of those teacakes with the jam in the middle. Fucking superb!
I know it’s probably been said before but whoever named Rich Teas must have been rightly taking the piss. Shittest tea biscuit ever.
A lot to be said for the very underrated Fig Roll lads…Superb with a mug of tea…
Never liked Fig Rolls since when I was about five or six and dicovered a nest of ants in the packet. Call me mad but there was something about that experience that turned me right off them!
The best accompanyment to a cup of cha for me are those Cadbury’s Mini rolls.
cadburys mini rolls are savage with tea … or choc hobnobs
Both outstanding choices, a bit luxurious though, like Viscounts. I think Fig Rolls are shit personally.
Fig Rolls definately have their place.
I mostly like my biscuits wraped or coated in chocolate however.
Does anyone remember those chocolate Fig Rolls actually, or did I dream that?
Fran did you ever have Fig Rolls and Custard ?..Fucking delicious!
Accompanied by tea or not Puke?
Custard is a big hit at home so I’ll pick up a packet of fig rolls on the way down tomorrow.
Hopefully this snow will have gone by then.
I had a cup of tea at 10pm last night (with a Cadbury’s Creme Egg).
I had a second cup of tea at 11pm last night (with a Chocolate Hobnob).
Outstanding accompaniments were both.
