At least England have slowed the run rate down to exactly 3 an over. 63 runs in 21 overs on the board at tea. Warner can only play one way, out of the traps blasting and scoring quickly. Getting him out for a duck first over solves that problem for England straight away and prevents them getting out of the blocks and scoring quickly.
There’s 42 overs left today. Australia probably need to bat for another 30 now which would leave 10-12 at England. They’d have liked 15-20 at England before stumps.
