145-3. The collapse is on

Now 264-8

Aussies out for 225. Sandpaper guy scored 80. Six wickets for Archer. Tricky half an hour remaining for England to bat.

Sam Curran was very good today for England. Left armed bowler swinging the ball caused a lot of problems for the Australian batsmen including Sandpaper. England missed a trick not playing him earlier in the series.

182/2. England lead by 251

Australia 68/3 at lunch on Day 4 in their pursuit of 399 to win the series.

The Great David Warner avoided the ignominy of a 9th dismissal from 10 in single digits this series. He’d got to 11 when Stuart Broad picked up his wicket for the 7th time in the series.

Cheers mate. Still finding my feet around here and figuring things out.

Even though you are a newbie, something tells me you have the potential to be a very good poster

Sandpaper out for 23. Broad picking up the wicket.

Australia 85/4

Australia making England work for this but Broad has finally picked up the 7th wicket. 244/7.

Wade 112 n. o.

Captain Root picks up the wicket of Wade. Wade comes down the wicket to take him on and Bairstow stumps him.

260/8

Captain Root picks up the last two wickets of Lyon and Hazelwood in successive deliveries to wrap up a comprehensive 135 run win for England.

After 24 successive Ashes series that yielded a winner, it’s the first tied Ashes series since 1972 as it finishes up 2-2. The long wait for an Australian series win in England goes on.
