TFK Bogball 2000-2019 Half Back Line

A bit like a Munster electorate who returns the Healy Raes, Lowry, Willie O’Dea and Timmy Dooley.

It’s done lads

If you want to limit it to before the last 12, they have one All-Ireland win, a final defeat and a quarter final defeat to the eventual champions. That great Kerry team wasn’t going to lose games in the qualifiers to sides like Sligo, Laois or Meath. The current Kerry team may well, they embarrassed the county in the Super 8s in 2018.

Watch that and tell me they weren’t.

They only had to have 3 runs in the qualifiers proper in 20 years. They’d have been dumped out a lot earlier many other seasons if they played in a proper province.

Will you stop, a penalty to go 1 point up with 5 minutes to play. If you don’t think Kerry would have turned that around you know nothing about football. That’s like saying Mayo nearly beat Dublin 3 times in the 5 in a row. There is a world of difference between running someone close and beating them, sure Limerick and Tipperary drew with Kerry in Munster in the same period but they never managed to beat them.

Did Tipp draw with Kerry, they drew with Cork alright

3 times in 20 years and in 09 they had so many scares along the way.

The qualifiers are a route filled with perils. Any side wants their passage to late July as easy as they can, Kerry have that luxury as they play in a farce of a province.

You could be right, the point stands.

Cork have played in 3 finals since 2000. One less than Tyrone.

If you are capable of being beaten by teams like Laois and Sligo of course the qualifiers are perilous, but these are sides of the same standard as Tipperary, Clare and Limerick who you consider to be cannon fodder in Munster.

They play in the same province as Kerry.

It’s a farce.

Laois and Sligo were provincial winners in that period.

Munster is a risible province. Kerry won 15 of the sham competition in the past 20 years.

Fermanagh, Derry and Down couldn’t win Ulster and two of them ended up in semi finals and the other in a final.

Tipperary have played in an All-Ireland semi, and Tyrone are the only Ulster county with more All-Ireland minor titles than them over the same period.
