Where are you getting your figures from, he played for 16 years for Kerry.
They won 5 All Ireland finals in that time, 2 against Mayo, 2 against Cork and one against Galway.

You defined the period as being from 2000 to 2019. Six All-Irelands.
O’Se retired in 2013.
He referred to Kerry
He was talking about Tomas O’Se.
They won those 5 All Irelands against Cork, Mayo and Galway.
Read it again and again and again
Maybe he should leave Tomas O’Se out of it as he didn’t win one in 2014.
Maybe you should change your thread title that says 2000 to 2019, Mr Magic Goalposts
Nope. I’ll just respond to a post defending putting Tomas O’Se in there with facts.
Does an opinion about Tomas O Se change the fact that Kerry won six All-Irelands in the time period you yourself defined? Bendy logic that.
It was a post outlining both.
O’Se won five all Irelands, two were against Mayo, two were against Cork and one was against Galway.
It was a post with an opinion, followed by a fact. The fact they won six All-Irelands in the period defined by yourself is incontrovertible. Nobody stated he was there for all six.
I’ve missed this place a lot. Classic stuff here
Tomas O’Se was a great wing back.
Separate point, Kerry won 6 All Irelands and were in 12 in the timeline given and you’re complaining about any Kerry player getting on the team
Wait, does that mean Kerry won more all-Irelands in that period than all the Ulster counties combined?
They were also more successful winning All-Irelands coming through the qualifiers in this period than by winning Munster. They won the All-Ireland 40% of the time when they got knocked out of Munster, and got to the final 80% of the time. Just shows you the benefit of additional games when preparing for the business end.
That’s a bizarre logic.
Kerry have only been beaten by Cork in Munster during 2000-2019 inclusive.
They won the Munster Championship 15 of those 20 times.
2002 they entered the qualifiers in R2 - they drew Wicklow, Fermanagh, Kildare, Galway and Cork before losing to Armagh.
2009 - they entered the qualifiers in R2 - they had a horrid run through these - labouring past Longford by 4 points, eeking past Sligo at home and only saved from going out by a penalty miss late on from David Kelly and hanging on by a point. They had Antrim up next and I think they were 6 points down at HT but came through by 5 in the end. They won the AI when Cork rolled over in the final.
The last one was 2012 where they entered the qualifiers and had wins over Tyrone and Clare and lost to Donegal.
The thing about the qualifiers is its a road fraught with danger.
Kerry have the advantage of not needing to worry about that as Munster football is absolutely farcical. A win over a Div 3 county will usually seem them parachuted into the last 12.
I don’t know what the post is trying to say. Are you disputing the fact that Kerry have a better success rate winning All-Irelands through the qualifier route than as Munster winners since the backdoor has been introduced? They have won the All-Ireland 40% of the time when coming through the qualifiers. The more games they get the more they improve, its a simple reality of championship football.
The forum has spoken on the half back line.
Move on gents.
I’m pointing out that Kerry only had to enter the knockout stage of the AI before the last 12 on 3 occasions in the last 20 years by virtue of playing a farcical province.
You’re just choosing to ignore it.
