I don’t really see what benefits AI brings for society in its functions. I can see loads of negatives. That’s before ever getting to the jobs that will be lost or the insane energy and water usage. It’s just going to fuck shit up.

What other benefits will it have for society though? It’ll negatively affect literacy, media literacy, mis and dis information. It’ll cost jobs without replacing them. It’ll be hugely destructive for the environment. And for what, so people can get it to auto generate shitty looking pictures?
