As it stands I’d say he is about flat on the day.

Reports that China is banning pension funds from selling stocks, they will only be allowed buy them. A fine example of a free market at work, and these cunts want to take over the reins as the world’s reserve currency. More like desperation setting in, their intervention over the weekend did fuck all.
The Euro is holding well today because the market opinion is that there will be a Grexit, and that this is good for the Euro. Whether the market is right on either question remains to be seen.

not bad, trading around 1.10 USD, was a 1.3% decline earlier, will hold for now and will continue to do so as long as stability continues

Dropped to the mid 1.09s in the last hour. There’s a charrrge on.

there sure is…

The Greeks didn’t even bring written proposals with them to the meeting today

This is after they were claiming on the lead in to the vote that a deal was basically just waiting to be signed.

It’s pretty high quality spoofing…

The new boy made a schoolboy error, having his personal notes (written on hotel notepaper) on display in photographs

The dog ate my copybook miss.

Full EU summit organised for Sunday. All signs pointing now that they are basically saying a deal by the weekend, or they are out of the euro.

Donald Tusk then gives a stark warning that there are just five days to avoid the worst-case scenario and save Greece from bankruptcy.

The European Council president says:

All sides of the negotiations share responsibility for the current status quo. That is why today I called leaders to try to find a consensus which will be our common success with no losers or winners.

If that doesn’t happen, it will means the end of the negotiations with all the possible consequences including the worst case scenario where all of us will lose.

Our inability to find agreement may lead to the bankruptcy of Greece and the insolvency of its banking system. And for sure, it will be most painful for the Greek people.

I have no doubt that this will affect all of Europe, also in the geo-political sense.

If someone has any illusion that it will not be so, they are naive.

The stark reality is that only have five days to find the ultimate agreement.

Until now I have avoided talking about deadlines, but tonight I have to say it loud and clear - the final deadline ends this week. All of us are responsible for the crisis, and all of us have a responsibility to resolve it.

The shadow boxing is over. It’s fucking on this week.

Juncker has said they have a detailed plan in place for a Grexit, coupled with Tusks words above, means the EU have completely lost patience and are about to pull the trigger.

Syriza could end up accepting a worse deal than what was voted on in the referendum.

Like anyone gives a shit about what some Polish bureaucrat thinks.

Obama’s going to be on the blower banging heads over the next few days. No way the yanks are going to let a NATO ally get cut adrift into Putin’s embrace.

Expect a boot being firmly applied to the can at this meeting.

The Greeks are unreal I’m moving there

I suspect the head of the Polish government is speaking on behalf of his German masters there Fagan.

They all need to have a large bullet proof coffee followed by a nutriblast before the next meeting. Their cognitive function and levels of clarity will be off the charts and surely lead to them figuring out a deal.

The Greek people won’t be too happy that after voting to reject one ultimatum, they are now being hit with a far more serious ultimatum. That said they will probably be less happy when their savings and pensions are wiped out next Monday.
