It is lashing rain here today but the forecast to the weekend is good. 26 degrees on Friday and 23 on Saturday.

My trip to Poland is in doubt due to ill health.

I completed a large part of my pre Poland arrangements in Dublin town yesterday.
I purchased trainers (black with a tinge of green), a green baseball cap, the full Ireland away kit (including socks and shirts), the new Celtic away kit (including socks and shorts) to reflect the unbreakable link between Celtic & Ireland and because thereās a tricolour pattern on the socks and sleeves, ridiculous 3/4 length Ireland training shorts (because the pockets have a zip to store phone, wallet etc and can be worn on match days), 5 pairs of socks (to augment existing pairs).
I intend to make one further expedition to town prior to departure and may purchase items such as face paint and a sun hat. I feel all the above will complement my existing Ireland and Celtic gear and Iām also eagerly awaiting delivery of my TFK t-shirt.

Flying out Saturday early morning to Warsaw.
Staying the night in Warsaw for a few handy as my mate has a friend over there who willing to put us up for a night and show us around. Sure why not 
Early train then on Sunday arriving into Poznan before lunch and in plenty of time to sample the pre-match atmosphereā¦

Heading over Thursday evening to Katowice. Few local handy ones and pick the car up Friday morning. Drive up to Wroclaw then for Czech Russia and then Poznan the next day to get settled in for the Eire game.
I did a similar shop to Bandage on Saturday picking up essentials like suncream, mozzy spray and novelty face paint, t-shirts and the like.
This will be epic.
