I would go for Zywiec but there is a wicked hangover from it. There is a brand called"Redds" it is kind of apple flavoured beer, not exactly cider. He can get magners strongbow in the odd place. Expect that in Poznan there will be a load of Lech for sale

Redds sounds nice. What sort of a hangover is there off it? Tend to find Polish beer a little bit “gassy”.
Might get lucky in a 24 hour alcohol shop but I reckon Redds is the closest you can get.
Never drank that much of it. Nice summer drink. Polski beer stronger than the home stuff, i reckon four here is the same as seven or eight at home.

Okocim on tap is the way to go beer wise in Poland. Delightful stuff but not as nice in bottles.

The Dutch are holding their open to the public training session next Wednesday at Wisla Krakow. 25000 free tickets issued. Complete carnage giving them out this morning, a couple of thousand queuing at 8am.

What kind of temperatures are we expecting next week?
It is a bit mixed. It was nice and hot in May but today was only 19ish with the threat of showers that did not materialise. Wednesday is forecast to be 21 and sunny. As I write there is an ant walking on my keyboard. They usually move indoors when the weather cools off. However, I am optimistic that the weather will come good, our boys will not want it too hot anyway if we have to play those meditteranean types.
