His TFWiki page had reference on it from what I remember - so the public would have known.
Heād be a bigger man if he had come out and didnāt have a book on sale at the same time.
A lot of plagiarism of Atticus Finch going on here.
He said that Davy should have gotten the all star ahead of him in 1999 and then had a bit of a bitch about Davy exaggerating an injury coming up to half time in an all star match when he knew he was being taken off at half time so it looked like he was subbed due to injury rather than being subbed for the sake of itā¦
Ever bought a good or service from the UK yourself?
Eh farmer you mong, Im not the only one who recognizes that the six counties belong to the UK. Anyone who deals in fact would have the same view.
pretty inconsequential stuff really.
i 1999 tho, correct me id i am wrong puke cork only conceeded 1 goal in their 4 games, that was in the semi final against waterford, they beat clare
1 13 to 14
offaly 19 to 16
kk 16 to 12 in the final
i was at all the games
as far as i remember KK put clare out in the AI SF that year
during those 4 games tho cusack did not have too much to do, the full back line of wayne sherlock, fergal ryan and sully were water tight for the year.
maybe tho it was because he was just up from u21 and the GAC were sick of the site of clare after 1998 that clare missed out on a few allstars in 1999

Davy had a fine year in 1999, probably his best in a clare jersey and more than deserved his all star gave an exibition against Tipp the first day and went down and buried a peno with the last puck to level itā¦He didnāt get it though because he was involved in a melee after the munster 21ās final where he was the trainer of the clare team and got a ban for it and it is believed that this went against him when selecting the all stars
who is this gay Cork rugger bugger?
Iām ruling out OāGara.
OāCallaghan, Stringer, Wallace all doubtful I suppose. Who else is there?
As for the Clare county sides to be honest Ive never heard of any of them batting for the other side.
In soccer, despite his savage wife Ashley Cole is supposed to strike off both sides, Ljungberg, Helguera, Twiggy are other ones that there has been rumours about.
good man puke
i remember that infamous u21 final against tipp allright.
was 1999 the same year that cunt leahy did his cruciate in the park agaisnt clare
there were so many tipp / clare games in cork i was at ive lost count.
the greatest of the all IMHO was in 97 when clare won munster and before the game at amhran na bhfiann lougnane standing there roaring the national anthem into the tipp full backās ( sheeehyās ?) face, ā¦ great times
the cork clare rivarly was never as intense as say clare / tipp or cork vs WD
mike moynihan touched on it slightly in his book āblood brothersā
he talk about in 95 / 96 when jimmy barry murphy admitted cork were afraid of clare, in 95 in limerick, barry egan placed a sliothar on the sideline for a cut, 3 points init , not long to go, loughnane walks up and kicks the sliothar away, egan just has to place the ball again, not one cork selector, player, offical or even frank himself had the balls for loughnaneā¦
in 98 clare gave cork a hiding in thurlus, before the game in 1999 feargal mccormack took the team into a room the morning of the game and showed the photos of daly laughing in a cork players face when clare were cruising during the 98 semi finalā¦
he showed the players this picture on a big screen over and over again,it got in there heads
in the book seanie macgrath and donal og said that during the pre match parade all you could hear was cork players shouting for daly, before the throw in mark landers hit him a belt and the town end in thurlus went madā¦
the rest is history
fuckin savage decade for hurling 1995 - 2004

Them Clare v Tipp games were epic stuff, pure hatred but with the backdoor the edge has now gone from themā¦could be wrong but i think it was the 2001 game leahy did his cruciates but not certainā¦
1997 was a class game, in fact both Clare Tipp matches in 1997 were dingersā¦David Forde ran riot when introduced in the munster finalā¦great days:thumbsup:
Big time. Has all the characteristics- throws hissy fits, plays like a girl, spits etc etc

the clash between paul shelley and gilligan in the 97 all ireland final was something incredible.
they battered each other and also hurled for seventy minutes
i have never seen and dont think i ever will see a game played at such an intensity,
leahy was a bollux , yes but fuck it did he give 110% on a pitch, after the final whistle that year and clare won it that man was broken on the pitch in croke park,
there was something about those games where players left every last drop of energy on the field
