Fresh from being the first media outlet in the world to announce the new Wexford senior hurling manager earlier tonight (http://thefreekick.com/vbforum/showthread.php?p=91572#post91572) - it’s probably worth updating the list now there’s been so many TFK exclusives. So what have we had?
Resolution of the Cork GAA strike last Spring.
Andreas Hinkel joining Celtic last January.
Cillian Sheridan starting for Celtic last Wednesday night at home to Manchester United.
Barry Robson starting ahead of Massimo Donati at home to Barcelona last season (got ridiculed on thehuddleboard for talking rubbish before that one was announced)
Chris Killen starting on his own upfront away to Benfica last season.
Georgios Samaras joining Celtic last January.
Setanta Sports winning the rights to home England soccer internationals and FA Cup coverage.
Leitrim making their inaugural attempt to get a contestant to qualify for the Rose of Tralee.
The All-Star hurling team last month.
And numerous more than I’ve probably forgotten. Feel free to update.
My exclusive revelation that Roy Keane had parted company with Roy Keanes Sunderland, a full 3 weeks before the main stream media got hold of the story.
Such was the faith shown in my investigative ability, that I didn’t even get a nomination for IOTM when there was still no sign of Roy hitting the road by the end of last month.
I’m adding this in advance of tonight. The UFC after party will take place in the Sugar Club on Leeson Street tonight. I’ve had this confirmed by 2 different people working closely with the event this weekend.
I’d like to exclusively reveal that negotiations have broken down between Pat Dolan and the Celtic board and that Pat shall not be taking over the reins at Celtic Park as previously expected.
It seems Pat made some over the top demands regarding a clause whereby he would have unlimited funds to spend in Abrakadabra for one year courtesy of Celtic FC. Peter Lawell was concerned that such a move would plunge the club into administration within a matter of weeks. Another moot point was Pat’s wish to revolutionise the players dietary habits, whereby they would be banned from eating absolutely any green vegetables.

Worst attempt at humour ever. Dunph, ban this mong.
