I don’t like this new site one bit
I’ve relaxed the spam settings a bit until the forum gets used to all the new accounts transferred across.
@akismet is acting a right cunt throwing his weight around giving it #biglicks
Youd want to put him in his place fairly lively mate.
That is possible I think but it gets cramped on that bar that scrolls down if you have to put those headers up there too. I saw it done somewhere and it looks a bit too crowded. So you either have to move them to the top header in green and you run out of space a bit there (particularly on a tablet for example) or you have another bit of the header that’s also sticky and then you’re giving up too much screen room for sticky components.
It would look better if it could be done neatly. Doing things neatly isn’t my Matt Forte.
@Rocko, when I search and find an old thread by default it takes me to the first post meaning if I want to post a reply in it I’ve a few clicks to get to the last post or I’ve to scroll forever. Any chance when opening a thread like this it could default to the last post? Or can I change that in my own preferences (have checked and can’t see it).
xox
christ, rocko must have the patience of a saint to be able to deal with hapless retards like Mac
I really don’t appreciate that comment mate.
the ratings were one of the more enjoyable parts of the forum
a well timed dumb or well clamped rating would leave a lad seething for days
without the ratings the juvenile narcissism may give way to more sensible interchanges but the fun factor has gone
Yup
(Two other characters. There ya go you cunt.)
I wish you would stop using that particular term of abuse. You are above that. Just call him a vile, hook nosed cunt. I don’t think anyone has an issue with that.
I actually felt the dumb rating was mainly used by lads who didn’t agree with you but didn’t want to engage in a conversation with you because they knew they’d lose the argument
If the ratings are coming back, don’t forget the dumb rating. How will the limerick knacks know that I’m rattled if I don’t rate their posts as dumb.

this place is not built for fun anymore. i feel this is what it must feel like if you were with a chubby bird for most of your life because you loved her round arse and her big tits and the bubbly personality that goes with it all that and then she went all out and turned into a bony shrivveled up old miserable hag overnight.
you cant stay in here for a prolonged period anymore, its like navigating your way round a fucking spreadsheet. fine for the spreadsheet jockies but not for the rest of us normal folk.

Agree*
its a complete disaster, I can’t know how to work it, totally un user friendly, the pagmintation is a disaster, you have made a total hames of it pal
I am sure it will improve. Now is the time for all of you to fall in behind @Rocko and @Fagan_ODowd and shut the fuck up.
You’ve had your laugh Rocko.
Now show them the real new forum

It defaults to where you last left off. If you haven’t been in the topic since the big move then the guess of what post you last read will likely/possibly be wrong. But that will only happen the first time you read that topic post migration. If you’re still going to the first post on every topic then something somewhere is badly wrong.
