The spelling of his name was a giveaway to be fair

Iā€™m currently sitting in Manchester Airport awaiting an Aer Lingus flight home. I flew over with Ryanair this morning and everything went smoothly apart from the Taxi driver not knowing the location of where I was going in Manchester city centre.

However, my journey has been soured since getting to the airport by 2 events

  1. They have this innovative idea at the coffee place that your phone can charge wirelessly by plugging a device into your phone and placing it on a ring on the counter beside your workspace. I availed of the service having used my phone a lot today. On plugging the device in my phone was at 35% power. 20 mins later it was down to 28%.

  2. Aer Lingus announced everyone go to gate 15 at about 3.10 for a 3.30 flight. At approx 3.15 they announced the final call for boarding resulting in everyone starting to run to the gate. On arrival at the gate the plane isnā€™t even here to board yet.

I have to fly Sydney - Brisbane next week on business. Given that this is a vast continent, would such a journey be eligible content for this thread?

Note the word between TFK and Business in the thread title. What is the flight time Fisty, about 35 mins? Its like flying from Dublin to Farranfore.

Hooknose, your views are not relevant to me. Iā€™m seeking opinions from seasoned and important businessmen like Bandage, Balbec and Tinnion.

I would refer you to Macā€™s previous post on this matter.Thank you.

Your views are relevant to me. Duly noted.

In other words, Iā€™d rather eat my own cock than meet you for a scoop.

I got an afternoon red eye to the UK today with Ryanair.

The flight times for other airlines didnā€™t suit due to a lunch commitment in Dublin earlier so Ryanair it was.

I had no issues but Iā€™m here for a couple of days and was dropping a bag at the desk.

The amount of tards whoā€™d clicked not to check in a bag but wanted to check one in was obscene.

Cue the complaints when the charge was mentioned then and the queue hold ups.

Iā€™m really looking forward to representing my employer at dinner later and developing some new professional relationships.

My hotel room has two floors and Iā€™ll have to go upstairs now shortly to take a dump.

An ā€œafternoonā€ red eye???

Yes. FFS sake. Whatā€™s wrong with you?
