TFK International Business Travel Thread

How is it early morning. I’ve a 9.30 flight from T1 and have the fast track. Is 7am ok to arrive ?

Busier in the morning but if you have fast track you’ll be in loads of time

2 and a half hours and fast track. Do you have to go on and clean the plane first or what?

You need that time to get the full benefit of his Aerclub membership in the lounge

I’ve been restricted to 5km for a good chunk of last 18 months. I’m a victim here pal. I’m like a lad released from prison struggling to adjust to life outside.

I’ll probably be like one of those Muldoons at airport security who only decide to get their liquids and electronics out at last moment and take their shoes and belts off and the old cosmopolitan me behind them in the business man queue staring at the back of their roaster rolled up neck seething. In my bare feet.

I’m in T1 pal. That’s the level I’m reduced to.

The volume is the killer as you get older

I’ve always pissed like a racehorse when I drink pints. It’s not worth the hassle when travelling.

Does anyone know what Newark is like for a stop over? 3/4 hours

It’s grand as airports go. It would be the best of the NY airports to stop over in.

It is bog standard enough but never overly busy and comfortable to get around. The rest are all pretty shit.

Grand job is there a bar? I’m looking at options for stop overs. It’s a one stop over and back woth the bonus of flying from shannon

Loads of bars and restaurants and shops. One very long concourse.

You’re flying from Shannon to Newark?

Yeah thats the plan. Avoid dublin like a plague
