Do it @gilgamboa . Just don’t be alarmed if I drive you past the bank a few times on the way to our swim.

My favourite junket to Vienna is back on in June. You gonna get the ferry between Vienna and bratislava?

Naw mate. I’m there on bidniz. I’ve a VW Polo (or similar) waiting for me at the airport. Need to get in, pick up a couple of colleagues, then head to Bratislava. No time for civil service leisure cruises.

Handy drive, about an hour. Staying in Bratislava?

A pity I suppose you’ll miss out on the delights of prater fairground as well

No, staying back in central Vienna. In and out of Bratislava on Monday. Meeting in Vienna on Tuesday. Haven’t been to either city before, looking forward to it.

Flight to Amsterdam and the queue is unreal in Dublin airport. You’d swear the Limerick hurling team were signing autographs the size of the queue.

Maybe just a fight at the front.

I’d imagine they are slow writers alright and maybe even need a bit of help to spell their names.

Plastic Galwayman alert

No ifs, no 'butts.

Anyone have any experience of transiting through JFK landing with Jet Blue to connect to an Aer Lingus flight back to Dublin? Do they use the same terminal and is it the usual US thing of you just landing in the middle of a mob and walking 50 odd yards to your connecting gate? No terminal change or anything?

It’s the same terminal. Once it’s a US domestic flight you arrive on you won’t have to clear security again so you’ll sail through.

You can set the bar over in the early riser’s thread if you have a minute to spare.

They had very advanced milking machine technology 12 years ago. The roaster contingent at the wedding left the function room to inspect a nearby farm at 3am.

Nothing like a sup of warm fresh milk after a gallon of beer.

Apart from the extreme weather for 6 months of the year, digging your car out of the snow every other morning for 2-3 months of the year, mosquitoes in the summer, extended periods of darkness in the winter and brightness in the summer it’s not too bad
