Where you flying to / from?
Dublin to Frankfurt and then I go and conquer the auto bahn for 100 kilometres or so.

Into Hamburg and out of Berlin at the moment. Was in and out of Frankfurt earlier in the year. Not the worst spot, the Germans are a odd bunch though

There is that as well for me mainly coming back from a long haul.
But the odd time if Iām changing from krakow to go west thereās a massive tunnel walk.
No sign of it. Amazing that the krauts messed it up.
I got trapped between 2 emergency exits that activated in it before and missed a connecting flight. Was stuck in the airport for 8 hours waiting for the next one as a result. Awful airport. Nothing in it. And not a city worth exploring if youāre stuck there either.
Munich is a lot better.
Itās been sitting there idle since Iāve been travelling over and back, 3-4 years. There must be some money lost on the place. Probably horseshit but a German architect we work with told me theyād be better off knocking the place a starting again such is the level of fuck ups they made.
Schiphol is the gold standard for me
