I’d rather be hitting the students
yes,
3 or four times.
morocco contains the most beautiful women on earth.
where are you off to? are you around marrakech?,
dodgy bastards though the arabs, be careful where you go, a trick of the local thieves in the bazaars is chopping off someone’s hand so they can steal a rolex, i heard an awful story about some italian bird loosing her ear in a cafe coz someone liked her earring and decided to take the whole lot home with them.
beautiful country tho, just be careful in the cities, if u can speak french or arabic it’ll make things an awful lot easier.
weather will be shit enough in january tho
Anyone ever been to Gdansk? I’d prefer a proper Baltic frost rather than all this soft weather.
Booked flights to Madrid there for the start of April.
any recomendation re: areas of town to stay/avoid?

Heading to Edinburgh in two weeks. Looking forward to getting wasted for a week.

Just checked there and there is a slight possibilty there will be a champions league game on while I am there. The quarter final first legs are scheduled for 30/31st March. I get in on the 31st so may be lucky. I suppose you would pay through the nose for tickets though.
I’m off to tour Poland next month, flying into Poznan with an interrail pass in hand I hope to see Leszno, Warclow, Krakow, Zakopane, Warsaw and Auschwitz. I’m rail and sailing home to Dublin and going to take in Berlin and Amsterdam along the way.
Any suggestions for the best pubs in each city will go down well.

Dont show anyone your passport at the train stations unless they show ID. Few friends of mine got badly rode over there while doing something similar to yourself.
was there a couple of times. stayed in around the city centre one time, other time was over with a friend who was living out near Vicente Calderon whilst in college. Handy bus ride/subway around anyway. Areas we went out most times were around Sol in centre, and then around Arguelles with some of his college mates. hard to know which was better. Sol was more touristy and set up for it, but better craic with local students around Argulles. handy having a bit of Spanish tho. If you are up for it, Hortaleza is supposed the be a happening spot for clubs. Just ask for directions.
nice sights around the city. rent a row boat in Parc Retiro for a chilled out afternoon recovering and looking at young ones sunbathing in the park.
went to a CL game there too. the game Roma won one nil with the master himself scoring the winner. ticket cost €20, we got from ticket booth the afternoon of the game.
I’ve been here, I’ve been there, I’ve been fucking everywhere.

Cheers G-Man.
Let’s hear it for New York…
Good advice there, some friends of AllChangePlease, whom I hate anyway, ended up bagless and passportless in Krakow train station last year when their attention was diverted for a minute.
Ah you know the type of people ACP hangs around with, they were loving being left bagless.
Ya they reported it to the crowd in the station but your man was more or less saying he’d be a dead man if he did anything.
Had to give your man €300 to get their passports back. Cant remember if that was each or what
Weak attempt at a gay joke there Flano.

The fook I’d hand over 300 to get my passport back, I’d rather take my chances with the Irish consulate in Warsaw.
