TFK Travel Thread 2009

I wasn’t offering advice. The place would suit you down to the ground in fact

please read my initial post about my upcoming trip- i clearly stated that it wasnt an invitation for bogtrotters to reply

Seeing as this place is wall to wall Muldoons at this stage that make the post fairly meaningless so

Only NCC could get excited about visiting the Leitrim of Australia.

What’s it like down around Dunmore East, Passage etc? I’ve never really been down that side of the country and thinking of taking a jaunt down for the weekend.

this thread is lame- who the fuck would want to hear about other peoples holidays

this fella

I wouldn’t trust that fella, he has a VERY BAD reputation.

So he does. Obviously from bad aul stock.

in all fairness details of his trip to the algarve should be a good read

The Dunph in the Algarve. He could serialise that and make a fortune

the dunph in the algarve & rintintin paris escapades would all be page turners

kev goes to new ross & talks to his friend about exercise wouldnt be that interesting though

Both alright spots. Dunmore would be a livelier but that’s not saying much. Passage would be closer to the town of Waterford. I’d be more inclined to recommend Dungarvan or Ardmore.

Hangblaa should be able to provide a more detailed insight

aye, Passage is only a village sure, grand for a drive thru but wouldnt be stopping there or anything. Dunmore is alright, couple of decent pubs and hotels and good drives around the area. depends on what runt is looking for too, is it a short break with the burd, or a lads weekend?

I’ve been to Dungarven before alright. Not really concerned about liveliness. Going down there more to get away from the beer than for it.

Ardmore is a nice, quiet spot with plenty of decent walks along the headlands. If you’re feeling flush, book a table at the new Michelin star restaurant at the Cliff House Hotel

There is method to my plan on Dunmore/Passage area. Whilst paying a visit to Tramore on the Sunday it might be a pleasant surprise to discover that there is actually racing on there that day and it would a lovely way to pass the afternoon B)

In that case, make it Dunmore

only thing decent about passage is the ferry to ballyhack

Shambles of a thread.
