TFKHDTJPPT 2020 - Super 8s - glasagusban v eoghanruadha

Funnily enough the munster council commissioned a munster team of the last 25 years to be picked around 2010 as part of the 125 year commemoration of the GAA. One of the midfielders in this match up made the team, the other one didn’t. Can you guess which one was picked?

@eoghanruadha wins it

The curse of @anon78624367 strikes again - what a jonah!

Good stuff there @glasagusban, a bit of a needle in that wan. I would love to have seen Lynch/Carey partner in midfield too.

Carey?

Jerry O’Connor surprisingly enough

Interesting :thinking:

I had forgotten how good Jerry O’Connor was, he gave a Tour de France in the 2004 Munster Final. Still not good enough for a place on that team I’d imagine

He had three very good years where he was a key player in that Cork team he was a sub for a number of years before that and soon went to pot after that. I said it a few weeks ago that I found it startling that Tom Kenny never got an All Star yet Jerry won POTY and got three All stars and is on 25 year teams as there was little or nothing between either of them and Kenny was every bit as important to that Cork side.

You’re doing some job championing the weaker teams.

The Limerick docket is beaten

Oxymoron of the year award contender right there.

Donal O’Grady the selector :joy:

This is a shambolic result for the tournament.

Ah stop. You tried to argue Ken McGrath, of all players, couldn’t play anywhere other than centre back. GUBU.

Did I yeah? Where did I do that?

Congratulations, this lad picks a good team and more importantly talks a good game.
