TFKNFLFFL 1st Division 2014

He nearly made it, congrats

Some big movers this week in the league.

@Scrunchie all but seals top spot in the North with a win over @SoulDressing Gman jumps 4 places to 5th after a win over @croppy_boy. Croppy and SD drop 3 places after the loss, and now only sit one win above Rocko and Mac.

@Fran lost this week, but fortunately for him, so did @The Big Cheese. @The Big Cheese loss is more costly, as he drops 3 places out of the wildcard spot. @Rocko got a vital win to take him out of the bottom 2, but @Mac also had the win over fran and keeps the pressure on.

@braz83 was the biggest climber this week, jumping 5 places, with a win over @Turenne. @Blake also made big gains with a win over the hapless @Colin Montgomerie who drops back into last spot.

Scrunchie leads overall on 8-3. Fran follows on 7-4. Braz then is third as a result of leading the Southern division on 6-5. There are a further 4 teams on 6-5 - Blake, Gman, Chewy, Turenne. Croppy and SD follow on 5-6, and then Rocko and Mac on 4-6 and Colin on 3-7.

The south is a bit messed up, Blake is down as third in that, but has the final wildcard spot. These NFL tables can sometimes be fucked up, so if there are any anomalies come playoff time, I can adjust them to fit what the positions should reflect. The first tie breaker is head to head. Then points differential on head to head if you played them twice. Then points scored. Hopefully it will all sort itself out at playoffs anyway, as this issue comes up pretty much every year.

Again, some big divisional games this week. Gman plays scrunchie, Croppy plays souldressing, Fran plays rocko, Mac plays Chewy, Turenne plays Colin, and Braz plays Blake.

Its all still to play for in TFKs premier, original and best fantasy league.

I’m third because of a three way tie atop the division. Don’t see why I would be bumped out of the wildcard spot if I’m 4th overall.

I am -6.74 cumulatively over the past three weeks.

tough game to lose but @Rocko is a class act and was always going to come out fighting. He really shouldn’t be down the bottom of the table but them the breaks

you wont if it all stacks up. I havent gone back over the previous results, but in previous years the auto tables have a habit of having someone in positions when they shouldnt be. As I said, it hopefully will resolve itself, and it could well be fine the way it is. I’m just saying that there will be no one getting into playoffs if the results and tie breakers dont stack up. Worry about it when the season ends, but you wont be fucked out for no good reason.

What if it’s a three-way (or four-way) tie?

highly doubtful that will happen, but it will go on head to head between the the teams involved. If that is still level, then it will be points scored. I doubt it will go that far anyway. If its a 3 way tie for a division winner, then it will be head to head or conference record to split that. If it is a 3 or 4 way tie for the wildacrd, then it will be head to head on those teams, and division position doesnt matter. this could be why you are third in the division, but have the current wildcard spot. But like I said, I havent checked back on results, just reassuring all that it will be all transparent.

I see @SoulDressing adopted the @Rocko tactic this week o_O

incorrect. He had a player who was a late inactive playing the late game, and both alternatives were playing the earlier game, so it was unfortunate luck. Both alternatives would not have made any difference to the final result.

so quit your shit stirring your cretin. consider this an official warning for trying to tarnish other players reputations.

edit: havent forgot your text either, not in work so will find out when I can.

Scrunchie & @Fran are flying.

It’s now time for Josh Gordon to bring this home!

@Colin Montgomerie - who are you picking up off the waiver wire pal?

Could have done without Antonio Brown being on bye for this week’s crunch game against @Blake . The South is a real three-way tussle, I’m fucking pumped for this one.

Incidentally, @Rocko has been fairly unlucky this year. Has an overall breakdown record of 64-57, but an actual record of 4-7. Hasn’t been picking his opponents well. On the other hand, that lucky cunt @Scrunchie is 58-63 overall, but with an 8-3 record. @Colin Montgomerie and @croppy_boy share the worst overall breakdown record of 50-71, but croppy has managed to pick up two more victories than the Ryder Cup legend.

@Braz I take umbrage at your “lucky cunt” assertion. My team has been drilled perfectly this year. We do enough each week to get the wins we need. No need to go mental and rub it in to you losers with mega victories. I call off the dogs and keep them fresh for next week. My elite 2QB strategy, which was scoffed at during the draft, has flummoxed you all and I expect another 7-14 point spread victory over @Gman this week.

Refusal to ground your opponents face into the dirt when you’re on top is the sign of a loser. If you somehow manage to fluke your way to the post-season, that kind of softness will be exposed.

My breakdown records over the last three weeks have been 11-0, 0-11 and 11-0. Boom or bust. :pint:

I have scored a total of 23.58 points more than @Colin Montgomerie this season.

Until The PITT sorts out their Defence they will continue to struggle however.

Agreed, your team needs to improve at the breakdown

From my limited understanding, the breakdown is the key to winning every single rugby football match.

@Colin Montgomerie
