The main reason many follow Gript is the fact they report the COVID stats that RTE/info/times ignore.
I ignore their stuff on abortion, sexuality and Israel because they are not topics that interest me (they are also biased).

I’d be all for social welfare when needed but there’s some amount of useless cunts that are playing the system. They can’t call out that though incase jimmy (40) with his free council house and 4 kids turns on FFG/SF.

Irish twitter is full of virtue signalling morons. It is literally the best place for blowhards to announce to the world how righteous they are. It bears no relevance to the real world, spend as little time there as possible. The added notion that many Irish people have that they are hilarious or interesting makes Irish twitter a nawful place entirely.
Also the far right moniker is these days thrown at arguments that cowards can’t debate. They can’t argue a point, the other side is a nazi. Same as the states the last few years, don’t toe the line? You’re a Russian asset or a bot. You don’t have to go too far to see it used.
Go into a good pub (cc laz) and sit down with a few auld stocks and you’ll be laughing at yourself for paying it any heed.

I agree with all of the above but despite being an awful place Irish Twitter sets a lot of public policy’s IMO.
At the moment there is more likely to be a far left revolution from PBP than any other party. I can’t really see why it’s not ok to call out useless cunts draining the country on the dole, the no work/woke brigade.

Gript has a big following on this forum. They promote far right extremism. Doesn’t get much more far right than Dara O’Flaherty.
