TFK's Far Right - Watch thread (no spongers allowed)

What annoys me the most is that anyone who disagrees with the left, especially the far left, is rather stupidly labelled “far right”. It’s as if you can’t just be on the “right” - no, you must be a Hitler supporting, African hating, ultra right nutjob. It’s this sort of imagined moral superiority that disenfranchises those in the centre and turns people away from the left. Ten years ago I was a solid liberal. What’s happened in the last decade with society in general though is just nuts and I’m firmly right of centre now.

Explain that in an irish context… do you think society in Ireland has moved far left? Are you talking about abortion and gay marriage or is it just that there’s more immigration?

Absolute horseshit
Many, most, teachers probably agree that transgenderism is incredibly problematic in an overly liberal society, questions need to be asked. But Burke is a disgrace to the profession and that is the opinion of 99% of teachers.

I had the opportunity of hearing Graham Lenihan on the radio twice in the past week, he has some good points to make in presenting himself as a martyr though I’m unsure how far he’s gone in his rhetoric.
Burke has never made a good point, religious nutters rarely do

what annoys me is that as Ireland becomes a more inclusive & diverse society through immigration & more acceptance of our LGBTQ allies, right wing crackpots have become angrier & more vocal.

Instead of accepting that they dont like a more inclusive Ireland, they use mental gymnastics to say they havent changed rather its the wokies & the left who have changed

Would have thought libertarianism was quite a bit right of centre to begin with. And you’ve moved further right you say?

Why do you want to allow men who self identify as women into safe spaces for women pal where those women for many good reasons don’t want men?

The white male privilege and misogyny isn’t cool.

Libertarianism has always been a gateway to fascism. The classic “libertarian” cause was opposing the Civil Rights Act, because apparently true freedom meant the right to racially discriminate.

It’s an absolute triumph of branding though to match cigarettes being called “torches of freedom”. “Libertarianism”, oooohhh that sounds so fluffy and positive, who could oppose that? Whereas in reality it’s a bully’s charter.

“until we had an increase in immigration , it didnt bother me too much, but now we have more immigrants i detest them, damn those wokies keep moving the goalposts”

i dont identify as a male mate

A colleague of mine was spat at and called a “fascist” on his walk to the car park last night

If he’s driving a car then he’s fair game shur !

The fuck? :joy:

The Election winner in Holland wants to decrease payments to Europe, not immigration and……… stop Ukraine joining the EU.

Well done Vlad.

I saw 3 teachers on Twitter say the same.

None from Trim incidentally.

To be fair if youse lot had your way 3 teachers would make up 70% of the total teaching population of Ireland.

What is it with far right politicians having mad hair? Trump, the argie mentaller, this wilders fellow. Are they far-right because they have mad hair or do they have mad hair because they are far-right?

They have mad hair because they know thick people see mad hair and want to vote for the person with mad hair because the thick people have no concept of politics other than that it should be a game of completely stupid entertainment.

Right wingers love stupid people. That’s why they consistently attack education and push lowest common denominator dumbed down shit on populations, because right wing hegemony depends on masses of stupid people.

The Simpsons nailed the current trendy celebrity far right politics as entertainment game.
