The mafia like nature of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael is something to be thankful for in some ways.

I was completely wrong I would have predicted likes of pepper to hit 14-15pc but I wouldn’t be as astute as you. I think you and others on twitter actually fooled me into thinking they were a huge threat.
They are a threat, just because they don’t win elections now doesn’t mean they aren’t a threat.
Aontu have two TDs, Noel Thomas nearly got elected in Galway and probably will next time, lots of other TDs promote a reality-denying worldview.
So they have plenty of friends in the Dail.
