Irish people left so those that stayed behind should shut up and get on with it… That’s the very bizarre logic being applied here.
Our own country was similarly disadvantaged in the not so distant past and masses of people emigrated. They relied on other countries to live.
Can we show similar practices now that the shoe is on the other foot?
