I don’t know and we’ll never know but what is clear is there are a lot of real thickos who get their “news” and worldviews from these sort of Twitter accounts. Then they themselves repeat equally stupid opinions on Facebook and such opinions spread in an even more insidious way.
It’s very instructive to waste a couple of hours on Facebook between 12am and 2am going down rabbit holes looking at the sort of shite real people write on it.
I do this three times a month.
I particularly liked the comment about All Creatures Great and Small and how it showed how great a country Ireland was before the onset of the stupid modern world.
It’s dangerous to read too much into what people say on social media and treat it as real life.
It’s a crucial service really. Where would we be without you reposting all that shite on here
