TFK's Far Right - Watch thread (no spongers allowed)

“This is basic stuff” The sneeriness of that :joy:

You referred to me having “low IQ” and now you’re all up in a huff about supposed “sneeriness”.

That’s classic give it but can’t take it snowflake behaviour.

Also, it is basic stuff. Do you have any relations abroad?

You are defensive of the far right.

Defensive of Nazi scum.

It’s very instructive as to what angle you’re coming from.

The angle of the unhinged lunatic.

Where am I defending the far right? :joy:

Meanwhile, the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has “strongly condemned” social media abuse directed at Irish Times journalists working on the Ashtown story, describing it as “despicable”. Since the story was published on Saturday, Social Affairs Correspondent Kitty Holland and photographer Dara Mac Dónaill have been subjected to “despicable” abuse on social media, Séamus Dooley, Irish secretary of the NUJ, said in a statement.
There have been suggestions that the story was fabricated. Kitty and Dara are journalists of the highest integrity who behaved with utmost professionalism. This was a despicable incident, and their presence thankfully prevented a more serious incident

Good to see the likes of @Fagan_ODowd and @Batigol being called out for their bullshit.

What actually happened here with regard to this whole thing? Did the attack happen and she said she saw it but didn’t actually see it? Did the attack not happen at all? Did she not actually say she saw it but just inferred it?

You’ve tagged me in error there. I’ve not abused anyone on social media

Sure @glasagusban told us yesterday he didnt read the article in question… but sure lookit a union has stuck uo for a journailst so thats that. Like the teaching unions sticking up for Enoch.

‘When interrupted by The Irish Times and asked why they were attacking the camp, the men – all white, Irish – alleged the residents had been involved in an assault locally.’

I just read the article and I’d say this is the line which is causing much of the controversy
Is she the ‘Irish Times’ referred to?

Has she responded to that question?

She is the person and she has said since she never said she was there. Seems like she probably overegged her involvement at the start then had to row back.

Is there a dispute about whether the attack happened at all though? We are flooded with so much bullshit from every side these days it’s impossible to know what’s true.
And that’s just glen v kilmacud

I dont know. I’d definitely believe the intimidation happened but maybe not to the level that was inferred from the report. I’d have thought we’d have got a photo of some damage done at least. All the footage shows an intact camp. Youd wonder how shit things must be in the home countries for lads to prefer to stay here homeless.

He’s 40 at the start of the article and 39 half way down.

A Turbocunt.

So I’m guessing he’s the new MickCaul?

thats not a great hot take mate

Was there anyone there to verify the attack happened, the attackers were all white males and Irish? Who took the census recorded in the article?

He’s 39 until he’s 40

You’ll have to direct those questions to the irish times mate. Or @glasagusban he’s happy answering about stuff he hasn’t read anyway.

The attack was reported in the Irish Times but the first reaction online from oddballs like @Fagan_ODowd @Batigol @EmilioButragueno and @Juhniallio was to question the veracity of the report while @estebandaface wondered why the people had been allowed to camp there at all. Strange first responses you might say, and you’d be right.

It shows up the weird contrarian takes that people feel comfortable taking on the internet, despite their having absolutely no knowledge or insight at all. This weird behaviour has now been picked up on and highlighted by the National Union of Journalists.
