I think you have to separate what people are disillusioned with, mate.
To name just two things I’d be disillusioned with my current state of health and with the current state of political debate in the world, especially the flourishing of disinformation and people who shout very stupid and hateful things very loud and gain a lot of notoriety, popularity and money from doing so.
I’d be very disillusioned with these things, and I think it’s very fair to be disillusioned by them.
Colm on the other hand seems disillusioned that some people might be tolerant of their children growing up to be anything except boring straight people, or that they might judge others by something other than their sexuality or gender or skin colour or number of Twitter followers.
I think if you’re disillusioned by these things you’re a thundering gobshite.

If you have Twitter on your phone do a search on Paul Murphy. As bad as this country has got, there’s a strong feeling against his absolute insanity and rejection of facts which is somewhat refreshing to see on a left leaning platform like Twitter.
This is about the message and not the sender. If you think a chaotic and empty legislator like this foetus looking cunt is right, then good luck to you and your limited emotional intelligence and grasp of the world.
Your focus is on Colm Parkinson when crazy/non sensical REALLY REALLY important stuff is at play here?

Paul Murphy and his partner are raising their child in a clearly very loving environment and are open minded parents who love their child unconditionally and will not disown or shame their child if the child does not live up to the stereotypical gender or sexuality “norms” some other people may have.
I’d call that exemplary parenting.
What exactly is the problem you, Colm Parkinson or anybody else has with that?
