How did the poor dears manage to board a flight in the first place??
Pat has it all figured out
So 30/40% are on the make and not genuine cases in 2023 alone. At least there’s clarity and normal conversations can start to happen about how the country deals with these folks and get them working etc.
You want them working?
Why, what’s your take?
There’s 10,000 kids with special needs in Ireland who have to wait more than a year to see a specialist. Is that right? If they want to make a better life for themselves (or alternatively drain a system that’s already fucked) then they should work like some of us do.
Firstly, just because people have fake documents or lost them doesn’t mean their claim isn’t legitimate. Though for the ones with “lost” documents it’s more likely their claim isn’t legitimate.
People whose claims are rejected should be returned. It’s odd that someone who complains about immigration wants people whose asylum claims have been rejected to stay and work.
Of those accepted, they’re allowed work, they’re probably quite productive according to most research.

Ya think…
I’m going to rock up in NYC and say I’ve been threatened by the Caseys in Limk and flush my passport down the jacks in JFK airport.
Very hard to argue when cold hard facts like this enter the equation.
Mike & Peter?
Any refugee or asylum seeker that boards a plane to Ireland with id documents and lands here without them should be sent packing - no ifs or buts. Fuck the cunts off and send out the message loud and clear.
That’s all very simplistic and rabble rousing and stupid, but it’s illegal.
Can you point me to the Irish law on this for reference please?
We ratified the 1951 Convention on Refugees.
Great, thanks. How does that fit in with your recent demands to increase security in Ireland? You were crying for greater air, sea and technology defence of Ireland but yourself and @Keadyshouldhaveplayedin89 are happy to leave thousands of people waltz into Ireland with no documents
You wokies are just gas.
What’s the connection between the Convention on Refugees and Ireland’s air, sea and technology defence, as you call it?
So you’re for open borders but you want billions spent on military defense
A very, very bizarre stance.
You wokies don’t know what you want… It’s even more bizarre when the militarisation of the EU is being built on border control.
As for the convention on people ripping up passports or whatever you called it, would the UN give us a big fine if we fucked these scammers back to the point or origin? Would we be invaded by the UN and Varadkar disposed for crimes agin humanity?
Which page of that convention says that?
