TG4 Underdogs

There isnt a more astute observer of Limerick hurling on this forum than myself.

Big Joe Coleman of St.Martins in Wexford unlucky to miss out.

Buff Egan favourite Beashtings of Midleton another

I was actually going to give Beastings the nod but wanted some diversity and inclusion in the team so went with Donal Oā€™Shea of Galway.

I couldnā€™t pick any more Galway lads as you wouldnā€™t know who up there got 10 minutes against Westmeath or Laois one of the years and the fine people of TFK wouldnā€™t be long pulling me up on selecting an ineligible player.

Itā€™ll be interesting to see if they go into the details of a session in the seven sisters which saw A few of them thrown off it.

Who are they playing? I reckon they went for Bonner Oā€™L for the ratings. The Leitrim lad had a fair high opinion of himself. A manor man I believe cc: @Massey

Thereā€™s a madness in Rob Oā€™Donnells eyes. A rogue. Reminds me of a lad we had over here for a while who hurled county with a Munster team. Lovely man but a touch of madness. Rob Oā€™Donnell hurled with @flattythehurdler lot one year. He hit the frees for them as they bate us in another All Britain final.

Whatā€™s his name?

Martin Feeneyā€¦didnā€™t get picked first day and pleaded with John Allen for another go as he had a tough match the day before. Got second chance and unanimously not picked second day either but started pleading that they didnā€™t see him in his man-marking role etc. They stood firm in their rejection and John Allen commented as Feeney left the room " Has no one ever said No to him before".

Darren Mullen played a Leinster final against Galway 2020.

Are you sure about that now?

Looks awful like John Donnelly- Mullen is a Lefty.

Iā€™m convinced he did play championship though. Either way, thatā€™s a good effort.

Darren Mullen never played Championship. A few league games pre-pandemic is all Iā€™d say.

Weā€™ve lads frantically searching Sportsfile to find incorrect photos of lads playing Championship.

The official @peddlerscross Underdogs 15 proving to be Box Office.

He was the only one I had my doubts about. As I said, good effort.

League games Iā€™d say although canā€™t recall exactly which ones.

If you expanded it to the parameters of the underdogs, you could include some excellent hurlers from Kildare, Armagh, Derry like Rian Boran, James Burke, Danny Magee and Cormac Doherty and whoever Offaly have coming

Just watching it there now, your man Abood, lives in Dublin, plays hurling for Ballinteer, what the fuck is up with his accent!?

Hes on Ballinteerā€™s second team afaik. Their first team are no great shakes.

God loves a trierā€¦ Canā€™t get my head around that accent.
