That Strange Work Phenomenon

I threw a cake on the ground in work one and a bunch of hungry “women” started eating it off the floor.

pisshhtt

All questions relating to birthdays in work should be directed towards the forums birthday expert Captainshan

Yeah yeah I did, they like eating floor cake.

Wonderful scenes in work. Some one of the IT lads walking around the office, cake in hand telling people it’s his birthday and offering people a slice of cake!

The despicable , self loving Runt strikes again.

I’m back to work tomorrow after a lovely 3 week holiday in New York, Las Vegas, Dublin and Wexford and I’ll be bringing my colleagues in an assortment of sweets to mark my return. A lovely work custom for the returning holidaymaker.

Milk duds?

What kind did you go with Bandage? I tend to go for the classics when doing this, but a person here has done the shitty thing of bringing back cheap foreign shit. IMO this is worse than bringing back nothing and should in fact be tossed in her face.

The bringing sweets back from abroad is a noble tradition.
People who bring back Toblerones should be shot though.

They may have been a novelty in the 1990’s but that has long passed.

Very disappointing to see people looking gift horses in the mouth

The receiving of a Toblerone from someone who has recently been abroad is a very strange phenomenon altogether. I still get one from my parents every time they travel and from my aunt who lives in England too. How did the whole thing start??

I see nothing wrong with them bringing back the foreign sweets.
If you want a tolerone then fuck off down to spar for one.

Thinly veiled I’m a tight fook post from Runt there.

Thinly veiled I recently brought back Toblerone by the Puke here.

I brought back Chocolate Eclairs, Wine Gums and Fruit Pastiles all the way from the shop around the corner from my apartment. Everybody was most appreciative of my gesture.

Being in the States, you really should have tried bring home some nice bits from there, unlike the cheapskate cunts who pick up the eastern European shit in Lidl when they get back. I tend to err on the side of Celebrations, Heroes, or maybe a nice Quality Street if its around the festive period.

But everyone knows that American confectionery is terrible stuff.

Worse than Lidl? Gway ta fook.
