I’m not sure what kind of cash extraction techniques he is using to get cash out of his company. Could be paying himself a salary, a dividend, could be investing some of it, could have his former wife as director and on payroll to faciliate maintenance payments. God only knows.

Do people honestly agree that we should more or less get rid of rte? I actually can’t get my head around that kind of thinking. The documentaries, the history programmes, the sport. There is an awful lot wrong but they do an awful lot right and they do things that there is no way a commerical station without any public service remit would do.
