Ah fuck it Morrissey.

The amount of people that I know who’ve lived in a Marty house in Limerick over the years…lived beside one of them one summer myself.

Wonder what kind of coin broadcasting heavyweight Brenda Donohue is raking in?

Baby Blue Productions Ltd (For the services of Miriam O’Callaghan) 280k

If I had it to spare I wouldn’t mind a crack off her.

The most fucking inane, annoying person in broadcasting anywhere.
I turn off or turn over the instant she opens her fat trap.

Friend of mine lived in Dungarvan for a few years and did alot of drinking there and in Waterford. His local pub down there was owned by an elderly couple, real old man’s pub. Everyone had to sing a song at some stage of the night and there were no stools or seats, you had to stand at the bar. Another rule they had was that they didn’t serve women, only in the snug, a rule stringently enforced by the wife. Brenda got wind of this anyway and brought down a gang of hairy arsed feminists and started to protesting outside the pub one morning. The auld fella opens up the door and gets a heart attack and drops dead at the sight of them. There wasn’t much seen of Brenda for a few years after that.

My dad told me about some spot in Waterford that he frequented years ago when he worked down there. He said that your man would only allow you two pints (he said that weirdos down that part of the world used to often prefer pint bottles of Guinness to draught) and that was that. No more than two pints per person. And no women. Waterford lads really don’t like women in their pubs, fair fucks to them

Seems like a tall tale

I lack the imagination to make up that kind of stuff.

Might be mixing it up a bit with Tom Mahers. Tom used to only open two hours at a time. 12-2 4-6 and 8-10. Closed on the button of 10. If you ordered a pint at 9.55 you’d be told you’d have to take a whisky Mac because you’d never finish the pint in time. Drunkards were never served. It was strictly men only and a lovely pub.

Did Tom die of a heart attack at the door of his pub circa 15 years ago with some fat bitch looking on?

You know what, that might be the place alright

No. That was Donie McLoughlin.

The nephew runs it now. Let’s the women in now.

Has he widened the door?

Some dingers in here. Great to see Gay Byrnes still pulling a wage all the same.

Any number of gems to be plucked out of that. One or two posters on here could contribute handsomely to a few of the upcoming documentarys as well
