They are robbing us blind. Where does RTE get the notion that they pay these sort of wages? Out of that list probably the only ones giving value for Money are Sean O’Rourke and Claire Byrne.

When they moved her to the weekend, she basically took a Monday-Friday type condition with her to the weekend.
To be fair to RTÉ and salaries, Pat Kenny did eventually move for a lot of money. Showing in a sense that there is competition for some of them. Now he has bombed spectacularly, it’s probably been the worst possible thing for RTÉ presenters since the recession.

I wouldn’t get out of bed for that kind of money. Nations top stars and they hardly earn enough to buy a house in Clontarf.

Not that RTÉ is the real world, but the point is still a silly one.
I went googling the BBC wages so I could say how ridiculous the RTE ones are.
Until I saw Gary Linker earns £1.8m, Alan Shearer 450k and MARK CHAPMAN gets up to 250k
They have 10 times our population
They’re national treasures but the micks reckon they should be paid the same as some desk jockey in the civil service

A lot of people tune in to listen to Neville though, whereas people turn off the TV when Chapman comes on.
Westlife did record the definitive version of uptown girl to be fair.
Sharon Ni Boland should not be earning what Dobson earns, she is vastly inferior and much less experienced. She is only insiyu because she looks like a dollybird albeit a 6.5/10 dollybird. f she looked like say Mary Lou Macdonald and had a huge arsehole on her nobody would tolerate her on the news.
