Prior has a back spasm or something and England and Wales have no back-up specialist 'keeper with the squad. They’ve asked Australia to delay the toss for a few minutes. Collingwood might have to keep wicket initially if Prior can’t play and they lose the toss - they’d probably name another 'keeper in the team and transport him to the ground asap.
England and Wales win the toss and will bat. Prior plays and it’s Harmison in for Flintoff - good to see them stay positive.
Stuart Clark and Brad Haddin in for Hauritz and Manou.
I’m on the Aussies at 6/4…come on ta fuck
Ah fuck’s sake Strauss plumb lbw to Hilfenhaus and Bowden didn’t give it.
Haven’t seen the incident but I’m sure it pitched outside leg.
Strauss is gone. Caught brilliantly by North off Siddle. 11-1
Strauss gawn - I was saying after the last test that there’ll be a time when Bopara et al will be required to show their mettle without the captain there to anchor the innings. Big test for England and Wales.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS…on your bike Strauss you cunt
Lotta Celtic fans follow the aul cricket, is there some sort of correlation?
Cricket’s such a magnificent sport it will attract interest from supporters of lots of football teams, I’d imagine.
Bopara gawn.
Not lovely.
Brutal from Bopara. He’s done nothing.
Can’t argue with that. Yer man on the BBC text commentary has a good line there about his three centuries in a row against West Indies being like taking Cliff Richard to the cleaners on the outside courts at Wimbledon but he’s facing Nadal on centre court now and he’s had no answer. Bell’s always an lbw candidate the way he brings his leg across in front of his bat but he needs to form a partnership with Cook now.
Its a thinking mans game…
Bell didn’t do much either. Poor session from England this.
Ah its great stuff
Rain on me.
It’s raining wickets instead! Clark gets Collingwood. 42-4.
63-5 deep shit
Finally the Ashes plays to form !!
Woo hoo, what a session.
